PDKJ Organizes Company-Wide "Improvement & Innovation" Training to Deepen Lean Management and Forge Core Competitiveness

To deepen lean management, forge core corporate competitiveness, and achieve the business objectives of maximizing sales, minimizing expenses, and shortening lead times, PDKJ has organized company-wide "Improvement & Innovation" training. Guided by the Shenghe School (Seiwajyuku) business philosophy, this initiative aims to foster a company-wide improvement mindset, activate innovative thinking, and enhance quality and efficiency across the entire value chain of welding equipment R&D, production, and service.

I. Training Core: Clarifying Definitions, Understanding Boundaries, Grasping Objectives

This training uses the Shenghe School's How to Carry Out Improvement and Innovation as the core teaching material. It begins by clarifying four key concepts—correction, improvement, innovation, and R&D—so that every PDKJ employee can accurately understand the direction of action:

The training emphasizes that Mindset × Passion × Capability determines the outcomes of improvement and innovation. We must adhere to twelve core principles:

  1. Maintain a "state of hunger" with strong motivation; push yourself to the brink; find methods, not excuses

  2. Make judgments based on "what is right as a human being"

  3. Firmly believe that every position has room for improvement, and everything can be improved
